Onboarding Project: Compensation Disbursement (Sleety)

Summary

This proposal asks the DAO to release the $18,300 USDC sitting in the Onboarding project wallet to Sleety / Gavin, as payment for the work delivered between March 2025 and April 2026.

The funds were originally approved for this project in February 2025 and nothing has been drawn against them since. They've sat in the project wallet. I posted a temperature check on the forum on May 4, 2026 covering the scope, deliverables, variances from the original plan, and budget reconciliation, and the feedback has been positive with no objections raised.

Deliverables

Milestone 1, Website. Built out the foundational structure and page templates for Homepage, Community, DAO Governance, Engineering, Bounties and Quiver across Arrow-air/website.

Milestone 2, Documentation Platform. A custom Docusaurus 3 instance, staged at stg.arrowair.com/docs and ready to go live. Bespoke design system, dark mode, mobile-responsive layout, animated components, and a multi-instance tabbed setup that should scale across future Arrow projects.

Milestone 3, Onboarding Documentation. 28 pages across 5 sections (Overview, Contributing, Community, Guides, DAO), each with a landing page and child pages, restructured and brought in line with the style guide.

Quiver Website. Picked this up mid-project as an extension, roughly a month of additional work. Not part of the original proposal.

Budget Reconciliation

The original $3,800 line for an annual GitBook subscription was reallocated inside the same overall budget to cover the extra development time the custom Docusaurus build needed. Total stays at $18,300.

If This Proposal Passes

1. The full $18,300 USDC is sent from the Onboarding project wallet to Arrow contributor Sleety's wallet at 0xb66f08dbd7a59b32e98033b9a1da08b5793dab79.

2. Sleety will distribute the $600 contributor incentive pot to the people who helped with copy and media for the site and docs, within one week of receiving the funds.

3. Taking the docs site live is the immediate next step.

4. The project's funding window (which expired June 15, 2025) stays closed. No further draws against this allocation. Any future work would come back to the DAO as a new proposal.
