AIP-009 Summary

AIP-009 proposes a decentralized manufacturing protocol for Arrow to enable global production of its designs without centralized entities. Orders are fulfilled by bonded ecosystem manufacturers via an Ethereum-based dApp shop that routes customer orders based on geography, price, and other factors.

This AIP will enshrine the basic concepts of the protocol, allowing the DAO to confidently proceed with further development and specification of the protocol.

Outcome if vote passes

AIP-009 will have been ratified by the voting Arrow community. The features introduced in AIP-009 will become standard and must be adopted according to the specification.
