Project Quiver will continue its grants and bounties model for May and June 2026. To bring funding back on schedule following a late filing, this proposal covers both months as a single combined request. This proposal allocates $17,520 USDC to Commitment Grants to support core project management and dev-kit operations, and a recurring request for 30,000 $ARROW is included for retroactive grants to reward work exceeding standard bounty scopes. Technical milestones will remain funded via existing USDC reserves in the team wallet. The 10,000 $ARROW Flight Test Campaign approved in April carries forward into May and June with mechanics to be finalized.
Proposal Breakdown
| Category | Budget |
|---|---|
| Commitment Grants (May + June) | $17,520 USDC |
| Retroactive Grants (May + June) | 30,000 $ARROW |
Total Budget Request: $17,520 USDC + 30,000 $ARROW
Goals for May and June
- Resolve HM30 radio and GCS link before next Mojave flight (data transfer vs charging mode, Bluetooth vs wired, SIYI Assistant).
- Publish first flight sequence and checklist to GitHub.
- Add mandatory post shipment sensor recalibration to Pilot's Handbook.
- Complete first flight of Houston drone following MK32 and SITL practice.
- Inspect failed battery PCBs to determine failure path and confirm whether Gray's failure damaged the battery PCB only or also the flight controller PCB.
- Confirm whether battery PCB temperature logging exists on Gray's current firmware.
- Resolve Gray's drone 12V rail failure.
- Complete controlled 4G hat RF interference retest.
- Correct radar and HM-30 CAD orientation and push updated ArduPilot parameters.
- Resolve attachment interface supply risk and determine order quantity or replacement path.
- Add first time setup documentation (ESC, flight controller, CAN IDs, motor LED colors, RID, ethernet).
- Document attachment developer guide under "Build on Quiver" section focusing on integrating payloads.
- Audit manufacturing guide build photos and replace where unclear.
- Build formal issue and failure log to replace scattered Discord threads.
- Update manufacturing guide as part of any design change PR.
- Run marketing and sales page discovery bounty ($375 USDC from QGB-FLEX).
- Improve bounty visibility through Discord announcements.
- Progress open USDC bounties: obstacle avoidance (QGB-02), endurance metrics (QGB-03), wind limit study (QGB-04), and attachment development (QGB-05).
- Complete V1 actuated payload latch bounty (QGB-05a).
- Complete V1 multispectral camera payload bounty (QGB-FLEX).
- Scope V1 of floodlight attachment.
- Complete FAA Declaration of Compliance filing.
- Begin product refinement based on field feedback (packaging, setup, adaptive parameters).
Commitment Grants — $17,520 USDC
Monthly grants to core contributors for attending meetings and general tasks supporting the dev-kit. ~5 hours per week per contributor, ~10 hours per week for the Project Lead. Per month allocation unchanged from April.
| Contributor | Monthly Grant (USDC) | May + June Total (USDC) |
|---|---|---|
| Erick | $3,000 | $6,000 |
| Julius | $1,280 | $2,560 |
| Zeynep | $1,280 | $2,560 |
| Alperen | $1,280 | $2,560 |
| KBM | $960 | $1,920 |
| Alex | $960 | $1,920 |
| Total | $8,760 | $17,520 |
Retroactive Grants — 30,000 $ARROW
To be distributed at the end of May and end of June for retroactively rewarding valuable contributions to the Quiver project that were not covered by an existing grant or bounty.
Flight Test Campaign — Carry Forward (No New Ask)
The 10,000 $ARROW Flight Test Campaign approved in April remains undistributed and carries forward into May and June. Reward tiers and participation mechanics will be finalized in May. No additional treasury transfer is requested for this line.
Marketing & Sales Page — Discovery Phase ($375 USDC from QGB-FLEX)
A $375 USDC discovery bounty will be sub-allocated from the existing QGB-FLEX bucket to scope the Quiver marketing and sales effort. The deliverable is a written recommendation document covering target audience, positioning, channel strategy (including adjacent communities such as Rocket Pool flagged in April), and a proposed budget for sales page updates. This is a scoping step, not a commitment to a marketing spend. A bounty to update the sales page will be priced and proposed in a future month based on the discovery output.
Grants & Bounties — Existing Reserve
The March 2026 governance proposal allocated $26,240 USDC to the Grants & Bounties pool. As of end of April, $4,493.50 has been paid, leaving $21,746.50 in reserve across open bounties. No new USDC bounty allocations are requested for May or June. The remaining reserve is sufficient to fund all open bounties as work progresses.
